The cabin was built in the 1850s, disassembled, and moved to its new location in 1975. The stay is designed to keep the feeling of the early 1900s while still providing modern conveniences.

Other things to note

Pets are considered case by case and must be crated when left alone. Pet accommodations are limited to one dog under 50 lbs, with a $125 non-refundable pet deposit added to the booking. Firewood is provided for the fire pit and fireplace on the deck.

Located in a nice, quiet historic mountain community where several neighboring cabins have been owned by the same families since the 60s. Guests can enjoy quiet walks along gravel roads on the mountain.
